what you are building
The MENA Angel Investors Summit 2026 will give selected early-stage founders the opportunity to present their ventures to angel investors and members of the regional investment ecosystem.
Applications are assessed before pitching places are confirmed. We look for a clear problem, evidence of progress and a credible case for investment.
Who can apply
Applications are open to early-stage startups that:
- are developing a scalable product, service or business model;
- have progressed from a validated concept or MVP through early revenue and initial growth;
- can demonstrate a clear customer problem and credible market opportunity;
- are seeking early-stage investment, strategic relationships or market access;
- have a founder or senior team member available to attend the Summit in Bahrain;
- are prepared to complete the selection and pitch-preparation process.
Pre-traction startups may apply where they can demonstrate meaningful validation through customer discovery, pilots, partnerships, product development or other evidence of progress.
The Summit is sector-agnostic. Priority will be given to ventures with a credible growth case and relevance to Bahrain or the wider MENA investment environment.

Applications will be considered based on:
- clarity and relevance of the problem;
- strength and differentiation of the solution;
- market opportunity and potential to scale;
- experience and commitment of the founding team;
- evidence of progress or validation;
- clarity of the funding case and intended use of capital;
- readiness to engage constructively with investors.
Selection is based on the overall strength of the application and the composition of the final pitching group. Meeting the eligibility requirements does not guarantee selection.
Selection timeline and pitch preparation
- Until 25 OctoberApplications submitted and reviewed for completeness.
- 26 October–3 NovemberApplication assessment and shortlist review. Selected applicants may be invited to a short follow-up conversation.
- By 4 NovemberFinal applicants are informed of the outcome.
- 5–17 NovemberSelected founders complete onboarding and pitch preparation. Instructions, presentation requirements and relevant deadlines will be shared directly.
- 18 NovemberSelected startups participate in the MENA Angel Investors Summit 2026 at The Diplomat Hotel, Kingdom of Bahrain.
