An award-winning entrepreneur and innovation strategist, serving as Chairman of Tenmou, Bahrain’s first Business Angels Company. He also chairs Ryalize, a financial wellness FinTech operating across the GCC and Singapore. With experience featured in The Financial Times, The Economist, and Al-Jazeera International — and executive training from Harvard and MIT — Suhail brings deep insight into early-stage investing and ecosystem development.
Zainab Al Sharif
+VC, PARTNER
Zainab Al Sharif is a Partner at Plus VC With eight years of experience in private equity and venture capital, she brings strong expertise in sourcing, evaluating, and supporting early-stage investment opportunities. Before joining Plus VC, Zainab served as a Senior Investment Analyst at both Dividend Gate Capital and 500 Startups. She holds an MSc in Risk Analysis from King’s College London and a BA in Business Management with Finance and Financial Services from the University of Westminster.
Zade Al Borshaid
ANTLER MENAP, INVESTMENT DIRECTOR
Zade is an Investment Director at Antler in MENAP. He was previously at McKinsey's Middle East Office, where he worked on engagements related to funding regional startup ecosystems, and set-up strategies for vertical-specific VC/Growth PE investment funds. He graduated from Columbia University with a degree in Economics and hails from Bahrain.
Sherif Abdelaty
GAINZ, CO-FOUNDER & PRESIDENT
Sherif Abdelaty is a seasoned entrepreneur and business leader with 20+ years of experience across venture building, strategic turnarounds, and corporate leadership in the MENA region. Sherif has successfully built, scaled, and exited multiple ventures — from AdTech and IoT to consulting and real estate. As an active startup mentor with VC4A and other regional platforms, he advises founders on business modeling, valuations, and investor readiness.

To begin, register your interest by filling in Startup registration form from the section above. Following that, the organising committee will reach out to you to gather additional information regarding your pitch deck. Upon approval, you will receive confirmation of your selection for the live pitching session.
Yes, the MENA Summit covers travel and accommodation for the selected pitching startups. Eligible startups will undergo a panel selection process.
Startups should be Pre-seed to Pre-Series A tech startups based in the MENA region.
